Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 May 2026
These Terms apply to use of CatchLab by clubs, teams, coaches, federations, and other organisations. CatchLab is operated by Aarts Pro Cycling Support, trading as CatchLab, KVK 88070808, VAT NL004533858B50.
1. The Service
CatchLab provides rowing performance analytics for Peach telemetry and related training data. The service may include upload and storage of raw session files, session processing, stroke and piece analysis, GPS and derived metrics, generated FIT files, club and athlete management, and integrations with third-party training platforms.
2. Orders, Pilots, And Pricing
Commercial terms are set out in an order form, invoice, statement of work, or written agreement. Unless a different arrangement is agreed, the standard Club offer is EUR 100 per month, excluding VAT where applicable and invoiced yearly, for one club, crew, or squad with up to 50 rowers. A 2-week free crew test period may be offered before the paid subscription starts. Custom pricing applies to federations, multi-club organisations, higher rower counts, bespoke onboarding, or additional services.
3. Customer Responsibilities
- You must make sure you have the right to upload, store, and process athlete and club data in CatchLab.
- You are responsible for coach accounts, athlete invitations, connected-service credentials, and the accuracy of data you provide.
- You must not share accounts across organisations or allow unauthorised users to access another club's data.
- You must not use CatchLab for medical diagnosis, treatment, or health advice.
4. Data Protection
For club performance data, the customer is normally the controller and CatchLab acts as processor. The Data Processing Addendum applies where CatchLab processes personal data on a customer's behalf. The Privacy Policy explains how CatchLab handles personal data in more detail.
5. Raw Data, HR, And Integrations
CatchLab stores raw Peach session archives and generated/derived files so clubs can reload sessions and compare historical data. Optional workflows may fetch or merge heart-rate data from connected services or files. Integrations such as Intervals.icu or TrainingPeaks are used only where configured or instructed by the club, coach, or athlete.
6. Third-Party Services
Third-party services are not controlled by CatchLab. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. CatchLab is not responsible for outages, API limits, policy changes, data handling, or decisions made by third-party platforms after data has been transferred to them.
7. Acceptable Use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. CatchLab may suspend access where necessary to protect the service, other customers, or data security.
8. Intellectual Property
CatchLab owns the platform, software, designs, code, documentation, and analytics methods. Customers retain ownership of their club, athlete, and session data. CatchLab may process that data only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, or as otherwise agreed.
9. Availability And Changes
CatchLab is an evolving product. We aim to keep the service reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may change, especially during paid pilots or founding-club periods. Material changes to legal terms or data handling will be communicated where required.
10. Fees And Payment
Fees, payment dates, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation rights are set out in the applicable order form, invoice, or written agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a subscription period has started.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate according to the order form or written agreement. CatchLab may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, or material breach. After termination, CatchLab will handle customer data according to the Privacy Policy, DPA, and any agreed retention or deletion terms.
12. Disclaimers
CatchLab provides performance analytics for coaching and training decisions. Metrics may be affected by sensor calibration, device configuration, GPS quality, third-party data, athlete setup, or file quality. CatchLab does not guarantee that metrics are complete, medically meaningful, or suitable for any specific competitive outcome.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CatchLab is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, or loss resulting from third-party services. Any total liability is limited to the fees paid for the affected service period, unless a different cap is agreed in writing.
14. Governing Law
Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, these Terms are governed by Dutch law and disputes are subject to the competent courts in the Netherlands.
